Marcus and his legacy of standing up for religious liberty. - While I am renown as a columnist and singer, I am also a fine artist.Help me fulfill a deathbed promise to my amazing dad to continue his legacy of standing up for what is right and Godly. The city of Deltona Florida selected three of my paintings for its Black History Month exhibit at city hall. The paintings were a part of a series of paintings titled, “Storefronts”, memories of growing up in my preacher dad's Baltimore storefront church.Deltona's mayor demanded that my paintings be removed from the exhibit due to their “religious theme”. Images in my paintings deemed offensive by the mayor were a bible on a table, a man wearing a “I heart Jesus” cap and a New Orleans style funeral procession.My dad, the late Dr Rev Lloyd E.
