Peninsula Press is a new publisher founded by three indie booksellers. - What is Peninsula Press? Peninsula Press is a new publisher founded by Sam Fisher, Jake Franklin and Will Rees – three indie booksellers from Burley Fisher Books and Camden Lock Books in London. In recent years, independent publishers have transformed Britain’s literary landscape – taking risks, bringing out challenging books and providing a platform for under-represented voices. From behind the counter, we’ve watched this unfold. Now, we want to join in. One of the joys of being a bookseller is recommending a book you love. Our publisher will operate in the same way, only publishing the books we love – whether that means discovering new voices or rediscovering forgotten ones.
