Never more aptly so than with Niyati and Gavin, whose musical marriage sprang from a meeting at Sydney's Jazz radio station and catalysed a creative partnership that spans music, art and film.Niyati came from a background in film production, writing, musical theatre and jazz, whilst Gavin studied fine art, painting and sculpture, graphic design and music, performing and composing jazz, Latin and original music for many years. We began performing together at events and functions, immediately finding a resonance on levels of taste, depth and subject matter. The pairing proved popular with listeners too, and music quickly became our bread and butter, as well as a vehicle for experiencing joy and creative fulfillm
