ortrays the man's professional image as scary and violent. While the man insists that the image was taken out of context, the photo goes viral with increasingly hostile comments causing him to be unfairly abandoned by friends and confronted by strangers. This film speaks to everyone who’s been misunderstood or victimized without recourse addressing the very real modern day phenomena of how social media can play a huge role in perception when we do things without considering the consequences of our actions. The emotional transition from bright scenes to eventual darkness begins with the unnecessary loss of the man’s beloved career and follows him throughout his struggles. Realistic dialogue and dramatic camera angles further magnify the experience as the man’s life and relationships continue in a downward spiral. Throughout the man’s efforts to regain his livelihood and reclaim the happiness stolen by thoughtless persecutors, there are flawlessly executed moments of sorrow and levity, with scenes causing even the most stoic hearts to ache. Rush Call Clown is a fictional story inspired by a real event on May 4, 2016 when after working all day with celebrity Jim Gaffigan ("who, along with his wife is a fantastic comedian and wonderful actor - their show is amazing" - Olan) Olan was asked to pose for a picture with Jim choking him which was posted by Gaffigan on his social media with the headline ‘Have sweet dreams tonight’ which garnered thousands of social media engagements, some comparing Olan's clown self to serial killer John Wayne Gacy. "The post got me thinking about how things can happen so quickly online changing the perception someone by a photo and headline. It made me think about how if this clown had been a real child entertainer that post might have had huge repercussions. This inspired me seeing how social media can change a person's perception in an instant. It's a modern day trial by fire online and it can happen to anybody." says OlanTHE GOALThe goal is to raise $5,000 by August 3, 2016. All funds received will be used to complete the production of the project and to enter into film festivals around the world.
